Doxyvet 200 mg (5 x 50 Tablets) works by killing the bacteria which cause infections. Doxyvet 200 mg (5 x 50 Tablets) is not effective against viruses or parasites that cause illness or pain. It is also not recommended for use by pregnant or breastfeeding individuals as it may cause birth defects in a developing baby. The active ingredient in Doxyvet 200 mg (5 x 50 Tablets) is doxycycline hyclate which is an antibiotic that works by preventing the growth of bacteria. Doxycycline treats urinary tract infections, intestinal infections, respiratory infections, eye infections, sexually transmitted infections (like gonorrhoea and syphilis), gum infections, diseases (like periodontitis), and others. Besides this, Doxycycline also treats acne-like lesions caused by rosacea. However, it does not treat facial redness caused by rosacea.
